I’m Agriculturalist professional, determined, creative, accountable, and ambitious individual with four (5) years of substantial experience in implementation of developmental humanitarian interventions of sustainable food and economic security for community to socio-economic in Uganda. Very familiar with government projects, project planning, project implementation and Project coordination.
Skills
I have practical experience in Agricultural teaching including agriculture extension, agronomy and training farmers and students on innovative farmer’s field school approach and implementation of Agriculture project for 4 years with international and national organization in northern and central Uganda. Over the years, I have gained technical expertise in direct seed distribution, setting up demonstration gardens, farmers group formation, seed multiplication, technical Agricultural trainings, Farmers field school, urban farming, black soldier flies/maggot farming, waste management. Moreover, I have vast experience in report writing and mobilization and sensitization local community at sub-county level.
Experience
Currently I'm working with RUHU secondary and farm as an agriculture officer consultant as part timer employee.
In 2024 I worked with Bukalasa agricultural college in horticulture department managing the greenhouse and open field gardens, organizing practical classes for students.
2023-2024 I worked with PlantVillage organization as a field officer (extensionalist) stationed in masaka.
2021-2023 I worked with both Root of Africa organisation and Equator Valley Farm a change maker and assistant agronomist respectively.
Education
Bachelor degree of agricultural economics and agribusiness management from Uganda martyrs university -nkozi.
Certificate in safe pesticide handing and application from makerere college of agricultural & environmental science.
Certificate in genal vegetable growing from Wageningen University & Research.
